...And for a portrait exhibition with less hype but possibly more heart, see Proof – Portraits from The Movement 1978-2003. This important solo exhibition by photographer Juno Gemes captures the face of Aboriginal struggle and leadership. Macquarie University Art Gallery, Vice-Chancellor's Building E11A, Ryde, 9850 7437. Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm, and some Saturdays, 10am-4pm (bookings encouraged), until May 10.
